Creating a Better World

The older I get, the more in love I am with Nature.

Maybe my spirituality is becoming more grounded. Or maybe it’s because I feel such a strong connection with indigenous consciousness. Whatever the case, I am so grateful for this natural world.

Here are the areas where my passions lie right now:

1. How can we preserve and protect this precious Earth and all her creatures?

2. How can we honor and remember the people who came before us, the First People who treated this good Earth with such respect?

3. And related to both of the above is the following: How can we hold a vision of a beautiful future?

Many people think I’m crazy to dare to imagine a beautiful future. They see all that is wrong in the world and they feel overwhelmed with despair. I am not immune to the problems of the world; I definitely see them. But when possible, I like to focus on the Light. I prefer to focus on the beauty, the kindness, the love. There are ample examples of the Good; it just never gets the same publicity. I believe we should all do what we can to make the world a better place, and… let’s not get so consumed with all that is wrong that we lose sight of all that is Good.

I’ll also be sharing some things we each can do to help make space for the sweet creatures of this Earth, small and large. We’ve gotten used to thinking that we’re royalty and that we have “dominion over” the Earth. A more compassionate and sustainable attitude is that we are part of Nature and we are all related. What Chief Seattle said was absolutely right: “Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together.”

I like to write, I like to do inspirational speaking, I like to take pictures, and sometimes I do art. I’ll be sharing a little bit of all of that. Meanwhile, you can check out some of my videos on my YouTube channel. (Cynthia Greb) I especially recommend this one: “Living as if the World is Sacred.” Watch HERE. You can also find inspirational videos of my talks HERE, including Loving this Earth, Being Light, Angels in our Midst–Human and Otherwise, and The Most Important Things Aren’t Things. Also, listen to podcasts HERE, including: We All Have a Spiritual Support Team, How Can We Birth a New Earth (Or, Co-creating the Shift We Yearn to See), The Power of Pilgrimage, Transforming Our Fear of Death, and Communing with the Spirits. Also, I do post about my journey on Facebook.

Meanwhile, when you’re feeling discouraged, remember the words of Martin Luther King, Jr. “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

Be the Love. Be the Light.

Bless you all,

Cynthia
